This is a powdered supplement that is fantastic. We have a liver chestnut TB gelding. When we put him on this supplement, his coat got very nice and dappled. He also got very dark and glossy. A major change from the years when he wasn't on the supplement. The cost is moderate, however you get what you pay for a lot of the time. The container itself is a metallic bag; we never had rodent issues with it but you could store it in an old supplement bucket if you're worried. My only complaint is that it is not available in pellet form - my horse gobbled it up and licked out the bucket, but I personally prefer pellets.

I've always believed in simple feeding with quality hay and a salt/mineral block. I've stepped it up with my competition horses and decided they might need a little extra. I did not want to oversupplement, as most products would do; Missing Link's ingredients sounded great and the idea behind providing a little extra that might be missing from regular feed really appealed to me. My one show gelding has been on this for three weeks and licks his dish clean. He has not haired-up like my other gelding and still has a shiny coat in November. Will be putting my other gelding on this soon to see if it makes a difference. Price is okay, at about $.45 per serving.
