We have tried fly bags and fly strips, but this is the best product we have found so far. It catches ALOT of flies and it holds alot of flies, also. We have tried to put one in our barn, but the horses didn't enjoy the smell too much so we had to put it on the trees around the manure pile. It works great, though!

I've been using these for years and they're the most effective trap I've tried by far. I usually order a half dozen or so at a time and I've found that there's always one or two in the batch that aren't as effective as the others and I don't know why. I'm very careful in measuring the water added and most of the time I'll put a trap out and it fills right up with flies. Other times, a few flies will go in at the beginning, then no more, no matter how long I leave it there. Finally, I'll give up and put out another one and it fills right up. This has been going on for years. I'm stumped.

Buying 10, thanks! from Keller, TX
not a joke, 3 days after i put one up just outside my barn entry, it was full to the brim with flys. Put up a second trap, same thing. I gave away all my fly sprays and my fly masks because i haven't seen a fly since. go buy as many of these as possible. LOVE THEM!

I am here on this site to order more of these. These traps are better than for example the Victor Trap or others for a number of reasons. For one, they do not dry out as fast as the traps that have openings on the top. Also with the opening being on the bottom not quite as much smell gets out. So until they are so full that they do smell terribly I am able to hang them up inside my barn and catch A LOT of flies there. Later I move them to the outside so they can smell all they want and start a new one in the barn. The hanging mechanism is also better than on other traps. Others I have tried sometimes break off and the whole trap will fall to the floor being rendered useless. This trap is overall the most useful and functional.

I started with these early this year and they have really helped. They are safe and very effective. Even if tipped over they do not spill.(Hint:Best to wear gloves when you are filling them, so you do not get the smelly stuff on your hands)

I bought two of these to start, They worked awesome! The were full of flys within a month! I mean FULL! The only thing is the smell of the traps is gross when your near them. I have also noticed they are full of house flys & not horse flys.

I find this to be the best fly trap on the market. It catches tons of flys. Couple it with Spalding Fly Predators and you will notice a huge difference in your fly population.
