GREAT Stuff, 5/7/2013

AussieAddict from Greeley, CO

I've used Source products for over 40 YEARS. Love them. Highly recommend the Source Hoof...makes a BIG difference in hoof quality. My horses are both barefoot...haven't been shod in over 20 something years.

Source HOOF, 3/18/2013

AussieAddict from Greeley, CO

I have used Source for many, many years. When my 26 YO Quarter Horse mare started to develop cracks and chips...I put her on the Source HOOF, about a year ago. She's had good hoof growth and eventually the cracks will be gone. I would highly recommend Source HOOF to anyone with a horse with hoof issues. AussieAddict

Wonderful!, 12/24/2012

Destiny from Sacramento, CA

My TB mare started on this about six months ago, and I and my farrier can see a huge difference in her feet. Her feet actually hold shoes now, and her sand cracks look much better, some are almost gone. Her feet are hard even though she is in a pasture on wet grass most of the winter. Will not buy any other hoof product! Only down side is she's not a huge fan of the flavor. I had to hand feed it to her in grain the first few days, and still do that now every once in a while, but its still worth it.

I guess I like it?, 6/15/2012

Hokeypokefarm from Rainy, WA

Ive been using this product for two years. I really dont know how my horse would be without it? I honestly dont know if it does anything? I just buy it & use it..lol. Its compatible with LMF super supp G. Also, my horse got an abscess a few months ago (we live in RAINY WA!) eventhough I use this product daily!...I would try another product but cant since I use that type of LMF grain and some things arent compatible.

Great Stuff!!, 4/5/2012

Pualette from cookeville, Tn.

Everyone said that Star our 31 yr. old Welsh cross pony had Cushioning disease since she hadn't shed her coat in 6 yrs. but she didn't show any other of signs of the disease. We decided that maybe her old system might just need alittle boost so we put her on Focus HF especially since Focus Senior had helped her so much. Within 6 weeks Star started to shed buckets!! Something she hadn't done in 6 yrs.!!! There was hair everywhere! Last spring you could tug on her coat and get nothing off. This spring we were tugging on her coat and getting handfuls out so bad that within minutes we were ankle deep in hair and more coming out everyday! Our vet said that Star was in the best shape she'd ever scene such an old pony be in! Between Focus Senior and Focus HF Star was like she was 10 yrs. younger. What great products these are!!

Exceptional, 12/6/2011

MB from Friday Harbor, WA

I have a QH App. with soft white hooves. He's always worn his heels to nothing, never grown very good sole, and always had weak hoof walls. Essentially, he's always had to have shoes. In our wet environment, shoes cause major cracking and rotting so I just can't leave them on for the winter. I'd already had him on Source Original and loved it so I tried the Focus HF. What a suprise. Even trusting this brand already, I was amazed at the difference in his hooves. I now ride him barefoot across rocky terrain! Just buy the big one despite the sticker shock.

Wonder Supplement, 2/25/2011

Sumhorsegirl from Richmond, VA

I have used this on my two horses and will never change to another! A farrier told me that hoof supplements aren't worth it but I completely disagree. My paint gelding had small cracks in his cream hooves and has not had one since he has been on Source hoof. We just put our Tennessee Walker on it a week ago when he had a large superficial crack showing. It is amazing the difference...I can see where it is healing itself up...absolutely AMAZING!!!

A dedicated customer!, 1/24/2011

Laurie R. from Woodville, Me

After turning 50, I was fortunate to finally have a dream come true and purchase my first horse. Determined to give my new best friend the best care...it didn't take me long to feel concerned that obvious chips and cracks just didn't go away with regular farrier visits. I asked everyone I knew for advice...but chose to go out on a limb and purchase Focus HF on line after contacting the company for information and getting free samples to see if my horse actually liked the taste. A daily dose and time....hoof growth and hardness was impressive...and what an boost to the overall appearance of my 18 year old Arabian! Now that I am won over with the effects of HF..I am afraid to not have it available for my horse as part of his diet. In conclusion..being a dedicated customer, I have been suggesting this product to a friend who has an Appy with on going hoof issues. She trusts my judgment,...but is apprehensive about price. Guess what she will be getting in the mail as a gift in a couple days?....(an 8 month supply of HF.)

Skepitical of Supplements, 9/15/2010

Kimberly Rowe from

My paint gelding had ingured his coronet band which in turn caused a quarter crack to form on his outside front foot. This was almost 2 years ago. My gelding was receiving the Farriers supplement that they all recommend which he was on for 1 year with out any improvement. The quarter crack was still there, hair line crack but still there. So my friend mentioned this product and because of its inexpensive price I thought I would try it. He was been on it for 3 months now, and has beautiful solid growth. The quarter crack is almost all grown out, BUT the crack isn't going up to his coronet band. I would definately recommend this product, especially if you are using the more expensive farriers formula. Give the product at least two months to see a difference.

mended hoves, 6/5/2010

Phyllis Rayner from

The hoves on one of my paint horses could not hold shoes. My vet said she has no soles and needs shoes. she has now been on HF hoof for a year and her feet are growing and she can walk right again. My farrier said that he could not believe how good this worked on her hoves. I am so glad she can walk without pain now. I recomend this to everone.

Excellent Product!!!!, 8/3/2009

L.H. from Turner, MI

Two years ago I purchased a TB/QH mare that ended up having soft hoof walls and brittle hooves, not just cracks from the dry weather. I brought her home and had my vet out to give her a check over. He recommended Source Focus HF for her. Right away I got her on it and as her hooves started to grow out the cracks were disappearing with each visit from my farrier. I ended up running out of the Source and decided to buy another hoof supplement from Tractor Supply. I have had her on the "other" supplement for three months and the cracks are back and worse than ever! I am switching back to the Source Focus HF and never trying anything else again. Source has the chelated minerals need to help the horse absorb the vitamins and minerals that are essential for the hooves. Boy have I learned my lesson!

Awesome!!!, 7/13/2009
Sarah from Southeast MO

When I bought my mare she had a crack down the middle of her hoof. It wasn't bad or deep so I didn't think much of it. Then she through a shoe and it was during the rainy season and the crack opened up and turned into White Line Disease. I did tons of research and decided to try this product. My mare has been on it for just 3 weeks and already I can tell a huge difference. It will take a few months of course to completely grow out but the split is half the size it used to be. I feed this everyday with her feed and once a week use iodine to help keep the fungus out. This stuff really does work!!

GREAT FOR THE PRICE, 3/2/2009

Monica Freeman from Poway, ca

Well I was kinda' iffy about trying suppliments because it is a lot of money to waste on just "trying" out a product, but WOW!!! I was soooo surprised! Monte my big loveable rescue came to me with horribly short hooves and cracked. I was scared he may be lame because of it. I decided to get him a hoof suppliment to try and see if it improved his condition and wow did it! His hooves were shoed and I started him on this product. He now has much healthier hooves not to meantion it started making his coat soft as well, especially under his neck and hind. I recommend Focus for any horse. It is really good for the price and you won't be disappointed. Just make sure to pay attention to the rationing instructions

Every hooves frien, highly recommend, 10/30/2008

Megan from Ripley NY

I have used the normal Source for years, especially when we lived in the south as it really helped my horses overall with coping. I tried HF last year with a mare that I bought that we figured was ruined due to an injury that she basically had 5 feet from a quarter crack that completely seperated her heel and about 1/3 of her foot so bad it started to grow independent of the rest of her foot. Yes, bought this way, and no one would fess up to what happened. I talked with my absolutely gifted farrier (4th gen Amish family that even went as far as going to school just to further their knowledge and ended up teaching classes!) and put her on this, something I already had my other QH one for his brittle feet or former brittle feet at least. She started to heal but we figured she'd always be off. That was ok. Nine months later, she is totally sound and you can see the change in her feet. The rings from where we put her on HF are almost gone as her foot is totally grown out, and the horrible crack, one that made it into a high end farrier's journal for horse not destroyed kind of thing, is almost gone. Without the pictures, you would almost never know!! In about 2 months, you won't be able to as the last bit will trim off. Very happy, very highly recommend. Has my farrier, vet and fellow trainers all pretty convinced, a few with similar stories. :)

Extremely Effective, 8/9/2008
from Garfield, AR

I did a detailed comparison of hoof care products before trying this. I've used Hoof Power, Farrier's Formula and simple gelatin. Focus HF has the combination of ingredients that work. It takes a few months to improve the hoof. Be patient! My 22 yr old mare had badly cracked hooves. They are solid now and we no longer need shoes. Plus, Focus HF aids in digestion and the horse absorbes what they need from the supplement. This product also costs about $0.49 / day. You can't beat the price. You won't be sorry and neither will your equine friend.
