My horse loves these treats! He is a very picky eater, and doesn't like apples, but when he hears the crinkle of the bag he doesn't leave me alone. He even sniffs my pockets in case I forgot to give him one.. :) Luckily, the local Wal-mart has these but they are $13 a bag.

My horses loved these, and the cookies are easy to break into smaller pieces for training. After stretching one bag out over the course of a couple of weeks, I noticed my mare started to shine, and dapples even started showing up on her bay coat.
But buying the FlaxSnax locally (at $16 a bag), I couldn't afford it. Buying milled flax seed from the grocery store brought the same results at a much more affordable price ($2 a box).
If you have money to spend, they're a great treat -- even an occasional one. But, there are more affordable alternatives to get the same results, if you are willing to sacrifice the "treat".

I have been feeding flaxsnax to my horses for 4 years now and they loved it! I think it helps with their beautiful dappling coats too!

So far, all the horses at the barn where I ride just love these! I have had one of the ponies practically bury his nose in my pocket to get to them. Definitely worth trying to see if your horse likes them. :)

I have yet to have a horse refuse a Flax Snax. Even my pickiest eaters love them.
