SAVED MY HORSE, 1/20/2013

maclynes from Austin, Tx

My mare had hooves so bad that she wouldn't walk to get her feed or water. After giving her this suppliment for 1 month, she was walking to the back pasture. Finishing up the first bag, she was walking normal and the farrier was amazed at her recovery. Her hooves went from crumbly and warped, to hard and now can actually be trimmed. BUY THIS....

Awesome Stuff For Endurance Horse, 7/23/2012

Devon from Louisiana

I got this for my Appy/Arab that was constantly getting cracks and was sore footed over gravel. I wanted to do endurance on him barefooted. After having him on it 6 months there are no cracks, his hooves are growing very fast (almost replacing his entire hoof in 6 months) and he eats it fine. He did object the very first day but when I diluted the powder in water and poured it onto his feed he ate it and has not stopped since. He does 30-45 miles in training a week barefooted and has completed his first 25 mile ride without a hitch. Will buy this for all my horses and recommend it to anyone looking for hoof help. :)

The best stuff out there, 2/13/2012

KDKolbu from Kerrville, TX

I was using another product for the last 4 years. My horses feet were healthy, but broke easily on the rocks and didn't seem to grow at what I considered a regular rate. I found this stuff and compared the ingredients. What a difference in the amount of biotin! Basically next to nothing in the old brand compared to this product. I have used one 10-lbs. bag so far (for 4 horses) and I already see a difference -- not so much in the quality of hoof yet (takes a few months), but in the growth rate. While I should have been able to go eight weeks between farrier visits this winter, my horses' hooves are still growing enough for the 6-six trim and maybe even 4-5 weeks. Can't wait to see what their feet look like in 6-12 months.

Best Value!, 10/26/2011

Beth from NH

I never buy powdered supps, my horse is way to picky and have wasted so much money getting him to eat various things. After my vet and farrier suggested a high level biotin supp, I did so much research and found this to have the best levels of what we need. I ordered it, mixed it with some grain, and he did not eat it...shredded some carrots the next night with the supp and he ate it! he gets his grain after he licks his bucket clean of the supp with the carrots. :) Not sure how well it works as he has only been eating it for a week, but he is eating!! thats half the battle!

Awesome Stuff!!!, 10/26/2011

Cowcrazy from Banning, Ca

I have been using this product for 4 months now and my farrier says he can't believe how great my horses feet are! Before using this product there feet were brittle, didn't grow much and were impossible to keep shoes on, but now the shoes stay on and the brittleness is gone and the growth is unbelievable! Great product!!!

Amazing, 9/13/2011

Susanne from Beaufort, SC

I have been using this product for about 8 months know and the results are amazing. My horse had horribly soft brittle feet, and a very lackluster coat when I bought him. Was looking at all the products out there and this product offers the most per scoop of Biotin then any other product out there. My horse is a Bay Paint so a little white and a little brown lol His bay spots just shine like a penny. His hoofs are growing so fast now I have to have them trimed every 5 wks. I live by this product I wish that this product was supported my Smartpak lol

Best Value Hoof Supplement, 8/22/2011

Linda Satkowski from Farmville, VA

My borfriend and I started using this as an alternative to the many hoof supplements on the market. This product has more of the active ingredients (especially biotene) in then any other brand. It works wonders! We have four horses, a paint used for eventing, a retired, worn out TB (24), a retired, overly used roping horse (19), and a show mare (11) that tries to founder every spring; ALL of them have grown out a nice foot in record time. NONE of them needs shoes, despite some hard riding. This product will give you the most bang for your buck, and is versatile.

Great Stuff!, 1/24/2011

Jess from Portland, OR

i have a thoroughbred who, while he doesn't have the worst feet (they're actually pretty good feet for a thoroughbred), still needs something to keep him from getting sore and to help keep his hooves from chipping/cracking. i decided to try For-A-Flex because it has twice as much biotin as most other hoof supplements for about the same price, so i can just give him half a scoop. he has been on this supplement for about 4 months and i can already see a difference! he used to get sore feet after getting trimmed (he is barefoot!), but after his last trim he didn't get sore at all, and his hooves aren't chipping! i haven't had any trouble getting my horse to eat it. my horse and i both love For-A-Flex!!

Stabilizes white hoof growth , 12/28/2010

DONALD AGUILAR from Lawton, OK

I care for a white-hoofed, 10-year-old gelding under dry conditions. This horse had bad cracks on all four hoofs. With For-A-Flex and regular (every 60 days) trimming, this horse went from cracking, problem hoofs to normal hoofs in less than a year.

GREAT PRODUCT ......., 11/30/2010

Staytough from Akeley, MN.

It took him about two weeks to really start to eat it. I mix it with a sweet feed that I wet down and stir in the Bio-tin. He has a quarter crack that we needed to put wire sutures in to hold it together. The vet and farrier are amazed at how fast he has come around. After 6 months he is like a new horse and I will continue to feed this daily for at least another 6 months. Great product, thanks for helping to save my horse.

Not palatable and causes coughing, 9/25/2010

Tatum from

I was impressed by the reviews I read on this product. My mare was eating this but then she started coughing from it and discontinued eating it. I mixed it w/applesauce, but that didn't seem to help, then I diluted it w/water which worked for about a week then she started to cough again. Anyone have any suggestions? I haven't had her on it long enough to see if she's had any improvement. I want to give the product a chance, but I can't have a coughing horse.

Good product, 5/13/2010

D from

This has been the best hoof supplement we have tried. I recommended For-A-flex to my own mother and father for their horses. I never had an issue with them eating it. I have been feeding this supplement for about 6 months now. Just recently my farrier mentioned how much their hooves have improved. The walls are thicker and the cracking is gone. The farrier asked what we had changed and I said it was the For-A-Flex. Keep in mind, as with any supplement, results are not instant. What a difference a few months of consistent supplementing makes though.

I tried everything I could think of to get my horse to eat this product with his feed. I even mixed it with confectioners sugar! It's a shame, because I'm certain it's a high quality product. I like the banana idea but he doesn't like them. Too late now since I tossed it out after 4 mo.

Great Stuff!, 9/20/2009
from Colorado

I have a 22 year old foxtrotter mare who foundered - started using For-a-Flex biotin formula and her feet are in fabulous shape. It would be REALLY great if it was in a pellet though - the powder is smelly and hard to feed. Fortunately, my mare loves bananas, so I mix it in a mushed one.

Great Product, 9/16/2009
Beth Campbell from Morgantown, WV

This biotin formulation is very good. I've tried others, but because this has a higher content of biotin and amino acids, it does a better job. My mare used to get abcesses, but because this promotes faster hoof growth- she no longer has problem feet. Also her coat looks great and she looks like she's in show shape always!

Lifesaver for a Severely Foundered Horse, 10/9/2008

April Tucker from Breaux Bridge, LA

I first started using For-A-Flex in 2003 when my sons mare after foaling foundered on both front hooves, with a 9% rotation of the left hoof. Her hooves literally opened at the toe and you could see inside, it was horrible, the shoer and vet both did not give a good prognosis, but I was determined that this horse was not going to be put down. The vet trimmed away 50% of her hooves and we moved her into the barn on six inches of sand and started her on a biotin supplement, then I started researching and found For-A-Flex with a much higher biotin dose than what we had been giving through the vet, we gave her one scoop twice a day on her feed. While we did see new growth with the other, using For-A-Flex was amazing, it took a solid 8 months but she grew brand new hooves and got a clean bill of health from the vet, who said she was a "Miracle horse". I highly recommend this to anyone with a horse with hoof problems.

What a difference!, 9/1/2008

Duran from Las Cruces, NM

One of my horses had poor muscle tone, brittle feet, and a wiry, hard hair quality. After about a month of using the For-A-Flex Biotin in combination with a senior feed supplement to his daily ration of alfalfa, he showed a considerable amount of improvement. His coat was slicker and more vibrant, muscles were toning up, and after two months my farrier noticed a healthier hoof was growing. I think overall he felt much better because he wasn't as droopy-eyed and dumpy looking as he was before. It worked so well for this horse, I would definitely recomend it!

Excellent for Foundered Horses, 9/1/2008

Ann from Ransom, PA

I have a rescued Paint here that had foundered on both front feet. The right front being the worse of the two with a 11 degree rotation. Because of the restricted blood flow his toe area hardly grew. I tied numerous biotin supplements in hopes of improving blood flow and getting his toe to grow. None worked or even showed improvment to his hooves until I tried For-A-Flex Biotin Formula. Both his hooves are growing nicely now, and they are rock hard, his coat is smooth and soft. His tail which was short and stringy is now long and full. My farrier is thrilled with the results on Chance from this product and has his other clients Emailng me to get the name of this product for their horses. If your horse is fussy about eating this supplement, try a tiny amount(tablespoon)of vetetable oil over their feed and then put the supplement on top and mix.
