The only stuff I've tried that works even remotely. 1-2 days! We have swarms of gnats and masks plus this spray keep our babies happy! Horse.com has the best price by far. I buy the gallon refill. Thanks!

I've tried them all and have had the best results from this one. Perhaps the people who have problems with this aren't shaking the jug/bottle well enough each time they apply it. I have found that if you read and follow the instructions and initially WIPE a heavy application, the results are excellent. It hasn't lasted 14 days, but it has lasted 7 days per application. I've used it for years and will continue to do so.

I used tri-tec a handful of times and after a hot ride, I noticed that my horse's hair was falling out (face, chest, belly) and developed hives.

This fly spray smells nice and does a decent job on fly repellant for short term. It doesn't last a day let alone 14, but it's good for a quick ride or giving your horse a little relief. Little pricey for fly spray, but they are all different. More cost doesn't always mean a better product.

Living on the coast of South Carolina, where swamps are plentiful, so are mosquitoes. Tri-Tec protects my horses against them. Two of my horses are also allergic to gnats (which is why I switched to Tri-Tec.) Tri-Tec does a great job of protecting them from gnats and does not damage their skin.

I tried several other name brand expensive fly sprays, but in my opinion is the best, I buy the gallon refill. It's water based and doesn't cause dirt to stick to the coat. Sunscreen protection against bleach-out is important for my palomino. I have not found it to be effective more than 1 day during the humid summer months. My horse recognizes the spray bottle and will stand still in the pasture without being tied while I apply it.

I've used Tri Tech 14 for several years and been very happy with it. However, I have a new black horse. I sprayed her belly with it when the black flies first came out this spring, and the next day I brought her in and she had reddish brown circles under her belly and sides. Since it was under her belly, I can't blame the sun. I've learned that black hair pigment--eumelanin--is broken down more quickly by acids than red hair pigment--phaeomelanin. Do you have another product that won't bleach my black horse?

After using WIPE for many, many years; I tried TRI-TEC 14 two years ago. I haven't found anything better for keeping flies &
mosquitos away. The added bonus of sunscreen keeps the AZ sun from bleaching the coats, manes, & tails of the horses. Now three mares trot right up when they see the spray bottle; they love TRI-TEC 14, too!

We have used Tri-Tec fly spray on our horses for over 10 yrs. It's the only fly spray product that last longer than any other fly spray on the market. We would rather pay more for a product that really works longer than for a product that does not. There is nothing better!

I always bought Farnam's Bite-free by the case for years, it works excellent. But my newly bought AQHA dark gold palomino gelding would burn and peel from Bite-free. Poor guy, SO I tried this Tri-Tec 14, still Farnam company, seems to be similar ingredients. My horse NO LONGER gets burned with skin peeling from this, and NO MORE FLIES or mosquitos. I apply every day (we have VERY HOT weather, they sweat ALOT here) because he is hosed off daily, and when he's dry (just a few minutes in Phoenix summer) I apply every evening, and it lasts with no tail swishing, no stomping, no head shaking, until I hose him off the next night. I will be buying a few gallons to last the summer for all the herd. Happy horse, happy me. If you have a sensitive skinned horse that peels and burns from other fly sprays, give this a try.

This is the best fly spray I've used yet.Doesn't last the 14 days but a touch up every few days does the trick keeping the flies off, Doesn't peel my horses skin off like ultrashield or the other sweatproof products out there.Big thumbs up for it!

this is the best stuff to assist with flies and other pest. It doesn't last 14 days but it last longer than any other product out there. It conditions the coat and it has a pleasant sent. It works best when the dirt is brused away then sprayed on body area. I rub onto face and around the eyes. If used every few days it seems to work better. Usually about every three or so days and a fly mask helps. State line Tack has the best price on this product I have checked everywhere and the prices on the wormers are usually better. Hope this helps!

My horse is outside all day in the summer and as you can imagine the bugs are horrible. We do trail rides and the bugs just never leave her alone, no matter what I do! After buying this product, the severity of the bugs has been cut in half, if not more! I recommend this product to everyone! Thankyou Tri-tec 14

Tri-tec 14 is an absolute must have on hand! Great Stuff! Apply every 2 WEEKS. Flies drop dead as you spray it on!
When I moved to the Eastern Shore VA, I had a real problem with tics and mosquitos. When you apply it the first time, tics drop off! If I need it heavy duty because my horses are out 24/7 in the woods, I combine it with the Fly-rid Spot on. I have found the best price at horse.com even with shipping.

We had been using inexpensive sprays. By afternoon, the 2 mares had fly's. Purchased another brand, after reading the reviews on your site, took it back, bad reviews. Purchased TriTech locally in spray container to try, worked great, can easily go 3 to 4 days. We are now extending the spray intervals. Will purchase by gallon from State Line. Our girls are totally fly free. I thank Stateline for the review section, as well as excellent pricing and customer service. Bob Long

This stuff is great! Not only does it smell nice but it works great!
I have a paint that was alergic to some fly sprays and I also hated the way they smelled.
Tri-Tek 14 works great on him, has a sun block to help keep his chestnut from fading and his pink nose from burning. It's not greasy so it doesnt attract dirt and he's NOT allergic to it.
It's the only fly spray I will use on him and I'm very impressed with it. Great stuff!

I have used TriTec for years. This product truly works. It is worth the money. It is not sticky and stays on thru sweat, keeps the horses coat shiney and my bleck Percherons coat stays black. The bugs truly stay away.

I have used this product for a number of years. It works great for several days. It also keeps my horses coats very shiny and they do not sun bleach very much. My horses are turned out on pasture 610 hours daily. I also have a horse that is sensitive to alot of products but has no problems with this fly spray. It doesnt smell bad at all.

I have tried so many other fly sprays and this one is by far the best and longest lasting! I can actually go a couple of days without reapplying as long as it doesnt rain! I also like the Equisect as a spray for everydayriding use, but if you have pasture horses go with TriTec...you wont be dissapointed except in the price!

This works the best I feel. It stays on a long time and works well against pests. The best thing about it is the smell is much more agreeable that the other brands.

Ive used this fly spray and i think it works like a charm. It looks like milk which is kind of funny, but otherwise theres nothing wrong with it! It smells really good and i havent seen a fly on my horse. It doesnt effect me if it gets on my skin, and it keeps the flies from me, too!
